ही वाघनखे डाव्या हातात धारण करावयाची आहेत. दोन्ही अंगठ्यां सारखी खोबळे पहा. पहिली वरची मोठी असून दुसरी लहान आहे. पहिलीत अनामिका आणि दुसरीत करंगळी घालून मुठीत नखे लपवून धरावयाची सोय आहे.
डाव्या हातातील वाघनखे वापरून शत्रूला चकित करायचे, त्याचे कमर, पाठ किंवा पोट छेडून त्याला तोल जायला भाग पडायचे व उजव्या हातातील दुसर्या छुप्या शश्त्राने त्याला चीत करायचे.
खुल्या युद्धात याचा वापर शत्रूच्या ढाली गुंतवण्यासाठी किंवा शत्रूचा चेहरा फाडून हातातील तलवारीने त्याला चीत करायचे याकरिता होत असे.
हे छुपे शस्त्र असून शक्यतो मिठी मारताना दगाफटका झाल्यास किंवा कमी जागेत प्रभावीपणे लढण्यास याचा सर्वाधिक उपयोग केला जायचा.

These waghnakhs or tiger claws are made for the left hand. Notice the two ring holds of the claws. Shivrajya PratishthanThe upper one is bigger to hold index finger and the lower one is smaller to perfectly fit the little finger. The claws were concealed in the palm.
By wearing it in the left palm, it was used to render surprise and push the opponent off balance by puncturing the back, waist or stomach. At the same time, a small dagger or weapon was used to deal a fatal blow.
In open field warfare, it was used to grab and lock the shield of the opponent and deal a blow with the sword in the other hand.
But, this being a stealth weapon, it was usually used while embracing a hostile personality and to engage him effectively in a small space.
